Last week, when I checked the latest Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pay-per-view episode, it was a heck of catfight to cap the month of Feburary in downtown Los Angeles, California. Talk about Ronda Rousey going up for her fifth title defense against the tough top contender Cat Zingano.
But as far as the prediction of a potential all-out war goes, it was unfortunate it ended... in just a glimpse.
Dig this: it only took 14 quick seconds to seal the Rowdy’s victory, thus remaining undefeated in the UFC’s women’s division. It was indeed a record setting for her female colleagues; and joining the rank of Terry Martin.
Say, according to Bleacher Report, the fastest person ever to win a UFC fight was 7 seconds; however, for the case of all-time title fights, Rousey’s UFC 184 W was quick as heck; even Evil Knievel couldn't catch up – and that stat came from ESPN’s tweet.
It was two seconds faster than her previous fight.
How on earth Rousey did cap a victory that easy? Yes, so easy for her that her opponent couldn’t take it and was demanding a rematch soon?
Well, as Bruno sings, “Don‘t believe me. Just watch!” Yes, watch this clip.
Talk about girl power, huh?
