After a Good Friday hiatus, I’m back to the blogosphere once again. And for this Black Saturday, I will share something that I hope most of you guys will like. Especially if you’re been shrugging away from the upbeat noise recently.
Since I’ve been digging the independent music scene for about a few months already, I found one of my new favorites aside from the ones I listened to before.
And just a few weeks ago, I was at the Bih Zahr restobar at South Triangle, Quezon City to support Sparks Productions’ “Hindi Po Ito Gig, Group Project Lang Po” event. I’ll give you some brief background about of the seven acts who performed there.
Alasmedya is a pop-acoustic band from Antipolo City. Comprised of four members — Sean Cedro on vocals and Guitar, Jr Reo on the lead guitar and vocals as well, Jack Majadas on vocals and rap, and Mark Manago on percussion, Alasmedya promises to deliver smooth, chilling mixture of music their way. At once, they were featured guest on MOR 101.9.
And just when you thought they could only do Filipino songs, think again folks… Shameless plugs aside, here’s Fantasy.
Well, pardon for some camera glitches though. I guess, this is what gonna happens if your phone’s auto-focusing while being situated 10 feet away from the stage itself.
For more of them, just searched their music videos covered by several YouTube users such as Lihterature; as well as their Soundcloud, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts as well.
