Upcoming: Tanya Markova's Ang Darling Kong Zombie Music Video Launch

08/19/16 01:15:54 AM

It's been a long while since the last time I followed this squad of goth rockers or shock pop musicians. Hey, they were already one of the notable bands in the industry since they once entered at the latter part of the 2000s.

And for the past few years, Tanya Markova proved they are still existing; just the similar way as other bands proving naysayers who claimed OPM was already dead.

This year, we witnessed the eight-piece band unveiled their second album (and it was produced and distributed independently) called Mister Tililing; a record which showed them shying away from doing heavy stuff and going more poppish while retaining their deep, subliminal words underneath.

During 2016, we also witnessed Tanya Markova releasing their first music video called "Hello Hello Hello," stating their still existence and re-existence (in case you are not convinced yet). The clip was directed by Jiggy Gregorio, the man behind those music videos by MilesExperience, Jason Dy, and Darren Espanto.

And this might have been long overdue in the eyes of some, but certainly hoping to be worth the wait, as the band will formally launch the music video – their second from Gregorio – titled "Ang Darling Kong Zombie."

Still, infusing that indie film-like vibe from the director, Ang Darling Kong Zombie appears to live up to its promises as seen on the trailer: well, how about doing Gregorio'ss type of peg for a love song which appeared to be inspired by sorts of horror items in pop culture?

The launch will take place on 27 August 2016, at Black Kings Bar in Quezon City.

One thing that shouldn't be missed at all. Ika nga nila, kita kits sa tenga! #MasMasayaPagMayTanyaMarkova
