Circuit Makati, and it is promising to be another heavyweight event

Bandwagon Philippines welcomes the month of October with Bandwagon Music Market, happening at Power Mac Center Spotlight. Together with Circuit Makati, the Philippine arm of Singapore’s biggest music media brand promises a fun-filled day of excellent music, pop-up stores, great art, delicious food, interesting games and many more.
The Bandwagon Music Market is an annual event by Bandwagon Asia, and is being brought to the Philippines for the first time. Highlighting the natural talent of Filipinos in music, the Bandwagon Music Market features the best of the local indie scene today. Musicians, merchants and music lovers alike will be treated to the amazing performances of Oh, Flamingo!, Beast Jesus, Tom’s Story, Satchmi’s featured artist – Eyedress, BP Valenzuela, Runway Crimes, Shadow Moses, Bullet Dumas and CRWN.
“Local music has been on a roll the past few years, we’ve carefully curated a line up which we feel will also represent our country well on the regional level,” says Camille, country representative for Bandwagon Philippines. “We have consulted both the Singapore and Philippine teams regarding the line up. Some of the Filipino artists we have on the line up have already performed in Singapore. The rest are artists we can help push beyond the Philippines.”
True to their mission of connecting people to music in Asia, Bandwagon makes sure that this one-of-a-kind event celebrates not only the best of local music, but the best of regional music as well! Joining the already awesome lineup are one of Singapore’s indie music pioneer, singer-songwriter iNCH and Laneway alum, Syndicate’s hip hop electronic artist Intriguant.
Bandwagon has been a way for music artists and fans to find gigs, discover new artists and read fresh content about music in Asia, with Manila being the first city outside Singapore to experience what they have to offer.
“It has always been Bandwagon’s goal to be the premier online music portal for Southeast Asia, and we thought the Philippines was a good start,” adds Camille. “We still have a long way to of course but we’re optimistic about what’s to come. The music scene is so vibrant, so alive. There’s so much talent.”
Bandwagon has been present in the Philippine music scene for over a year now, and aims to do even more through unique, live music events, such as the Bandwagon Festival Bus and the Bandwagon Riverboat. Recently, they have also expanded to Indonesia, giving them presence in three countries now, with Singapore as their headquarters. Their mission is to strengthen the relations of the music communities in cities where Bandwagon is present.
