I was running bit late from the horrendous traffic from Mandaluyong all the way at Makati to catch up with We Are The Underdogs as they slate their third edition of a barely-mature evening full of sexy tunes (and musicians too), and medyo R-18 everything in between (that includes green tito jokes).
However, the hour-long travel from Cinema '76 to SaGuijo made me miss the early parts of Erotika Night 3, when The Espasouls, White Wall Poetry, Maude, and nearly half of the set of BennyBunnyBand. Suck to be me.
Still, managed to catch up with the rest of this kuneho rock band, as well another spoken word group The Artidope, and other bands MilesExperience and Demi.
That saved my sanity, at least. And the heat – plus red-light atmosphere (literally) at SaGuijo just made the evening live up to its (event) hype. It was also the first time I hear Demi, aside from that viral video with The Putings during their collaboration gig at Fete Fusion.
No wonder why their lead is called Master John Lloyd. LOL!
