The Scene Around: How I Met Your Mama

10/06/2016 07:57:37 PM

MamaMo Productions debuted in the gig held at Route 196 in Quezon City on Friday 15 July 2016. And it sounded like your favorite TV show.

Dubbed as How I Met Your Mama, these dudes and dudettes from UST teamed up to establish a young prod group that most likely will cater to their alum musicians. Heck, there was even a time where Miles of MilesExperience was taking care of the Route's gates.

BennyBunnyBand, At The Moment, and Banna Harbera headlined the gig together with Spaced Out Kids, The Squibs, and Where's Ramona?

I must say Spaced Out Kids sounded totally new to me. Playing post-rock alternative, this one comprised of members from Magdalena, Subscapular, and Tanya Markova.

And it's been a very long while since the last time I witness the kuneho rock trio of Benny, Jhenico and Ess at the Metro's premier live music venue, especially with the latter's illustration being part of then-social media buzz about the extra-judicial killings-slash-war against drugs campaign of the current administration.

Where's Ramona and The Squibs were the young ones I used to hear at some other gigs, with the former poised to be another heck of an all-Thomasian musican about to take off at the indie shores.
