It was like 3D all over again at Route 196 as Nicole of Red Ninja Productions celebrated her birthday last 27 July 2016 at Route 196 in Quezon City.
Barely half-a-week after their success repeat concert at the Music Museum, Bullet Dumas, Ebe Dancel, and Johnoy Danao head back to Route 196 once again and sent everyone wooing to their tunes, and drawing a large crowd attendance at the best live music bar in the north of Metro Manila.
They headlined the gig, but of course it was done with the Red Ninja way as some of the Prod's managed bands were joining the party, too. Runway Crimes, Tonight We Sleep, Lions & Acrobats, plus Jensen and The Flips round up the event.
Speaking of which, it was a memorable night for this soul-pop-alternative band as drummer Michael Gemina played his last gig as their member. Perhaps a heartbreaker but a moment to remember if you were a fan of Jensen and The Flips.
Not only that, her birthday gig was also part of the annual OPM week. Say, that speaks a lot on one side, considering Red Ninja is one of the big names when it comes to the rock stage of the independent music scene. And with the big outing they had in B-Side last April? Hey, that proves OPM is still rocking than what you think it is.
