Talk about a holiday flashback. We go back to four years ago. It was the first of December 2012 at the branch of National Book Store in Shangri-la Mall in Mandaluyong City as Stanley Chi launched his book that set himself apart from being the Suplado guy we know.
Titled as Pogi Points, Stanely Chi has put on a collection of his epigrams as similar to his epic Suplado Tips 1&2. Though the difference is this book comprised of anything and everything that a gentleman must truly possess. Around close to a hundred people – most were the members of SSP (Suplado Society of the Philippines) – attended the event.
Also, present during the event were Shehyee and Juan Tamad, Lei Miserable, Papa Dan, Ramon Bautista, Tado, and Justin Pinion. The afternoon was a surefire from the get-go, with music, mental games, and the signature humor. Well I swear: when these three guys get along in a stand-up comedy segment, it was and will definitely be a bunch if straight-fire shots from the gates to finish line.
And other than that, it was an then awesome way to kick off December 2012 (and the weekend, too!).
