I know, it might be six weeks to two months late from posting this. And I really had a hard time coping up with what's happening at the wrestling world.
But so, since WrestleMania week is just around the corner, maybe this could be at least a good time to fit into the showcase by having short takes on whatever PPV happened on this edition of road to the Ultimate Thrill Ride. Let's kick things off with NXT's pre-Royal Rumble special, shall we?

NXT Take Over San Antonio probably went their usual way and (as always) went way better than the supposedly-star of that January weekend called Royal Rumble.
This entire show just proved how far can NXT storytelling be compelling compared to their main roster counterparts – something that doesn't really sounded new at all. The Authors of Pain has undeniably wrote a new chapter (a final one) in their journey to the top.
While Asuka's match felt a bit off. It's a showcase of dominance alright, but done in a sort of “easy” way? Damn son. It still felt off for me. And Nikki Cross' suffering defeat the humiliated way made me thought for a second – SAnitY may have a major weakness link.
I find myself a bit disappointed that Roode's win over Nakamura didn't really have a great emphatic start – and we mean by his glorious entrance. Like really, is that all the glorious you can get? Nakamura clearly toppled him on that category, though it seems to me that Shisuke's loss would probably take a step closer to the main roster. We clearly wish, but it didn't happen at the Royal Rumble PPV itself, which is understandable. After all, who in the right frame of mind would you put an injured star at the end of NXT special and place him the next time at the specialized gauntlet match like he is playing 100%, right?
But Seth Rollins' hijacking the special Saturday night was a damn TakeOver moment for me. A clear sign of reigniting a what should have been a top WrestleMania 33 feud.
The Verdict: 8.1/10
