It's funny how much of being a radio kid has being rekindled in me as of late.
There was a time that a friend of mine who goes by the name of Weil Ylagan offered me to hang out with him during that evening at the studio of Jam 88.3 (Heck, he even introduced me as a "photographer").
The show was titled Mad Cat Midnight, and it is hosted by John Joe (yes, that MTV VJ/member of the band Mr. Bones and The Boneyard Circus); and their guests for the evening were members from the comedy improv group SPIT, Weil himself as fronting Demi, and that shock pop collective known as Tanya Markova.
Plus Dax Balmeo of Paranoid City also dropped by; turning this already-wacky show into a more funnier one as this episode tackled much of the stuff that involved cross-dressing, learning improv, and even how Facebook has been monetizing through videos. And that probably made me realize how much I've been missing on hearing talk shows like Mad Cat Midnight since late 2013.
Heck, they even made a mini-skit with voice impersonations from that colorful DJ Mo Twister and the popular animated series Ghost Fighter (Yu Yu Hakusho).
Listen to their full episode here.
As of writing time, they will be back on Tuesday for a sort of live gig performance. Tune it to Jam 88.3 by 9PM!
