The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33

04/02/17 11:03:57 PM

John Cena and Nikki Bella versus The Miz and Maryse might be one of the best things that will take olace at WrestleMania. At least that saved me from having some pre-event's disdains as a wrestling fan.

While things were quite obvious to be pointing in that direction even during his days of being the 16th time World Champion, it seems that Cena and his real-life girlfriend were planned to engage in an altercation with Mike Mizanin and his wife. Both sports-entertainers (we mean wrestlers) and entertainers at their very own respective rights.

And there is no doubt of the fact that these two were best performers, with Cena having limited skill-set than The Miz. Heck, they can tore the house down by just talking savagery in all kind of wordplays, reference bars, and bunch of real talk statements.

However, there's no way that Cena and Bella will gonna leave Orlando with a loss. The question is: will the 16-time Champ gonna propose to her real-life girlfriend who's been the longest Diva's Champion in history? We might found out in a backstage party will all the members of the roster celebrating (of course).

You wish, folks. You wish.

Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles is probably the match you never want to see. But story-wise, we have seen this tussle before, with Styles being the arrogant champion and Shane as the good guy authoritative figure. It's like  the inverted Daniel Bryan vs. Stephanie McMahon-led faction three years ago.

But there's no way AJ Styles gonna lose this ultimate thrill ride against Vince's “Begotten Son.” However, that doesn't mean we will not have a very crazy spot here.

Seth Rollins versus Triple H for a non-sanctioned match. Just another flavorful word to the originally-deviated “no holds barred match.” Could this mean an end to their feud? Probably. After a long-awaited run that should have taken place at WrestleMania last year.

The only problem I have here is that Rollins should've looked stronger than ever when he came back to a WWE ring. But I guess they shied away from dealing with that kind of storyline and make it appear Rollins in a very vulnerable yet valiantly-fighting position; something that is quite taking criticisms upon the credibility of the tale and has twisted everyone's minds in such a very ridiculous manner.

That said, Seth should win this despite having a crutch as a very focal point of this story as an imagery. And probably The Architect will ended one up against The Cerebral Assassin/The Game who also goes on two new monikers The Creator/The Destroyer.

Samoa Joe might play a vital role her as well as Sami Zayn and Stephanie McMahon. But I love to see Finn Balor negating the odds. Well, why not?

It's the battle of bragging rights. Who's yard? I mean who owns the WWE right now (and we're not talking about authority here).

For me, this match should look like Taker's passing the torch to Roman Reigns. And with the oceans of boos being thrown to The Big Dog right now, this should be an obvious statement: Roman is the heel in the scene now.

Of course, they will cheer for The Undertaker for he was a beloved figure in the WWE ever since his once-a-year appearances. WrestleMania is his show (sorry, Shawn Michaels!). And frankly, the grooming that Roman Reigns get from Vince has been taking another wrong swerve since losing his championship belt. Poor guy.

But that is probably the last resort the WWE has to do now: make Reigns a heel character, and this is just one of the first steps in doing so. After all, that will build “the guy” character in a long run.

Just let Taker win this one if WWE still have the nerve to keep his Mania legacy – for at least – intact.
