They may have been four or five months since their return but I think it's still fitting to say that “Revolver Productions is back once again.” And they definitely did it a la classic Filipino movie title.
Titled as Vanquish: Babangon Ako at Dudurugin Kita, the event featured nothing but some of the heftiest names in the music scene right now. Imagine putting up the perennial alternative rockers Peryodiko alongside current headliners Sud, and Jensen and The Flips with indie heavyweights Paranoid City, Loop, Moonwlk, and the superband called Apartel?
Man, you must be up for a night of delectable treats; with a variety of sounds classified from names to genres.
On a night full of eclectic music – plus Bess Gonzales' spoken word piece right before Vin Dancel and his crew perform Tayo Lang Ang May Alam – Revolver vanquish may just fall down as one of the notable Saturday nights in the metro for the past month.
Any why not? They just crushed everyone while rising up to the stratosphere.
