We may have been hours away from witnessing the second's biggest WWE pay-per-view event, the one they called “the biggest party of the summer,” and coinciding with an all-heavy music fetsival in the Philippines.
The 31st edition of SummerSlam is poised to take off on Sunday evening at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York (Monday morning Philippine time), their third-straight tiume in staging the event at the said venue. And for over the decade, SummerSlam were only situated in two venues: Barclays Center and Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Rusev versus Randy Orton. I think Rusev will win this. And he needs the victory. He has been nothing but a fluke. And Orton, has been lost on the shuffle since Bray went to RAW. Oh, there's Jinder, riht? But it was made for a buildup for the WWE Champ a la typical Indian way because he is a viper and for all of us know, a snake getting hypnotized with the music is all it takes for the modern-day Maharaja to unleash them all.

Imagine four already-known identities as superb individual performers gearing up for one title – the RAW Tag Team Championship. Sheamus and Cesaro will defend them against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, collectively known as 2/3 of The Shield, one of the greatest 3-men factions in WWE in recent history. There's a chance that Sheamus and Cesaro actually retains them if it means for Dean to turn on Seth, with this time, the Lunatic Fringe acting as the villain.
However, imagine if they won the tag team golds, and that will make Ambrose a grandslam champion. And also, imagine if Roman wins the big red title, too, and they hit up ringside. That will give you shades of what happened durig NXT TakeOver yesterday. But that may be too early to tell.
And frankly, it's impossible.
Shinsuke Nakamura versus Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championhsip. As much as I want to have Nakamura win, I think this Jinder will retain this title. The feud had been lacking on its build-up, and frankly the SmackDown's top title as been less in terms of having series of contendership, and the way they groom Jinder as part of expanding their (already massive) recognition to India has gone wrong. Hey, make him a face champ and make the universe love India for chrisssakes!

But this should pave the way to make Shinsuke's strong style look strong.

But imagine if Brock will retain then go to UFC for a one-time fight (again), but it's probably little than 25% that will happen. But more than a hundred, for sure, that we will be seeing him taking three to a gigantic ride. And we'll probably doubt he will leaving that much since he's advertised for the nest RAW-exclusive PPVs and even Survivor Series.
Either Roman or Joe will win the Universal title.
