It's that time of the year again where bloggers from the different corners of the archipelago reunite for a day of learning and networking for the 13th staging of the Philippine Blogging Summit – more known as #iBlog13.
For this year, the one-day iBlog13 will tackle issues surrounding the responsible blogging and social media vigilance. It's all happening at Saturday, 2 September 2017, at the Malcolm Theater of UP College of Law in UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City.
And this, I think, are two undervalued, unnoticeable, but most important users today, considering the rampant usage (and probably, their respective pitfalls) of the likes of Facebook, Twitter, other social networking platforms, and even blog sites. And this may not be just about the rampantly-talked political divisions, but even the rampage on other matters surrounding these two tools.
For the second straight year, #iBlog13 is going for a one-day only affair; this time, though, it will be staged on a weekend day which gives potential attendants to worry less of missing the entire thing.
The event is free for all bloggers and social media users. Just visit the website to register and be informed of the schedule, speakers, and all the information about the 13th Philippine Blogging Summit.
