Amusing thing to notice: a number of pop music bands are reallty taking advantage of nostalgic factor,. And Autotelic has just become one of them.
While it's obvious that the recorded version of Mapa sounded 80s – a far different from their live setup – director Miko Livelo also banked on nostalgia to direct its music video. The complex angles lead to a somewhat one-sided plot lines – that is to focus on the artistic Mapa broithers (actor Jao and musician Diego).
And apparently, Autotelic's latest music video appears to be a feel-good MV, way diferent from what they did in Gising, Laro, and Languyin. But at least they didn't dismiss the fuzz around Diego and Jao and mixed the BTS feel to stray away from looking just another short in a RPN 9-like image quality.
The Verdict: 7.4
