For the second year in a row, Alexa Bliss is walking in WrestleMania as a champion in WWE. But this time around, she will not face a legitimate threat in Asuka as the Empress of Tomorrow picked another championship belt to battle at the Show of Shows.
The question: Is Nia Jax that prime enough unlike last year? Of course. Heck, she could even steal the show.
But I doubt she will win the title yet, unless the Money in the Bank briefcase is only intended for the SmackDown Women's Championship.
The queen and the empress. Two elite women in the women's division scene today. And while the Japanese superstar has wiped out the entire NXT and RAW roster, it made a lot of sense on why she is gunning more at the blue brand.
That explains the battlecry “Nobody is ready for Asuka.” And moreover, the SmackDown women's championship may be Asuka's first title as a member of the main roster. Unless the creatives also decide to punch Carmella's ticket perfectly as it should... if you know what I mean.
The US Championship has been a glorious one, but with four people battling it out, this match should look more prestigious.
At fist, I thought of having Jinder Mahal winning another belt to at least redeem himself from a lackluster run as WWE Champion. Well, Randy Orton already reached his #GrandSlam goal, so there's very little to no chance that he will walk out there as a US champ.
Rusev may be a hands-down favorite to win it all, but he has become the same titleholder during his Bulgarian Brute heel days. Howeverr, make no mistake about the fact that Rusev Day chants might steal the show the most and hand him this goddamn belt for the second time.
But Roode's victory may the the damn glorious Mania of them all for the year. So either Roode or Jinder wins the US title.
The Miz's win might be a damn good moment for the new father and potential record-breaker for handling the Intercontinental Champion. And his insertion as the supporting cast to this Balor vs. Rollins feud would make sense, just like his involvement in multi-men title matches in the past (remember Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn of 2016?).
But if there is one man other than Miz who deserved to be crown IC champ? Hell, this is tough to choose. Both men used to be champions until they were forced to vacate them due to their respective injuries at their own time.
Somehow, after thinking of Seth's one step closer to becoming a Grand Slam champion, I think Finn could own this damn white and gold belt first. After all, he declared 2018 to be The Year of the Balor Club, so might as well go for the gold, right?
