Fresh from the success of its second show, Manila Wrestling Federation is set to return to UP Diliman this Sunday for the promotion's third #AksyoNovela episode titled Republika.

In case you missed it, MWF 2: Kasaysayan was staged at Ang Bahay Ng Alumni and featured a back-to-school vibe with ECW's Chilly Willy taking part in its opening billboard. Plus, the promotion formally unveiled its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm, the MWF Foundation; and the bracket for its championship tournament. In addition, as MWF made a homecoming, fellow wrestling group PWR joined them and a cross-promotion match took place between Rex Lawin and PWR's Sandata.

Interesting to see where the ongoing saga between life coach Gus Queens and senior analyst Tarek El Tayech will go from here, as well as the other characters such as Mr. Lucha, The Liwanags, Fabio Makisig, and a whole lot more.

While Robin Sane became the victor of the MWF Championship tourney inaugural match, he will cross paths with Hong Kong's Ho Ho Lun once again in a grudge match at the main event of the program. The two had an unfinished business that become more evident during the post-match of their tag team main event at MWF 1 held three months ago. This could mean a high-stake war between the country's premier high-flying athlete and the King of Pro Wrestling China champion who was once seen in action at both WWE's NXT and CWC shows.

Aside from that, several of the MWF Championship first-round matchups will take place during the evening. And the third installment of Gigz Stryker's Sagot Kita (Basta Stryker, Sweet Lover) will air during the program.

Will all the match-ups and entertaining segments scheduled, the manila-based Sports Entertainment appears to go beyond their previous showing at the same place five weeks ago.
