Originals Only (OO) is set to launch Guji Lorenzana's music video for a cause this September – that is to fight against cancer.
The known actor and singer-songwriter will unveil the music video for “Be Alright,” a song Guji wrote and performed in aim to provide comfort and hope for the affected people of this deadly disease. The song was also made as Guji's tribute to his mother, who recently passed away to cervical cancer.
Its music video is directed by Topher Alelis of Sindikato and features cancer patients, survivors and its affected family members around the world.
Joining Guji for the launch are some of today's OPM independent artists such as EJ de Perio, Sabu, St. Wolf, Mikee Misalucha, Roy Antonio, Angela Tinimbang, and other surprise guests. It will all be held on Tuesday, 25 September 2018, 8:00 PM at the Upperhouse, 2/f The Brewery at the Palace in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Entrance is absolutely FREE!
First perceived by Lorenzana as a passion project, Originals Only is a music event production with a loud movement of saying “OO” (or YES) to OPM by celebrating diversity through its genres. Held every month, OO has been showcasing an array of talents like Moira Dela Torre, Nicole Asensio, Leane and Naara, AJ Rafael, Three Legged Men, and SUD, in order to serve its main purpose – that is to provide a ground for local music to be rediscovered and celebrated by music enthusiasts.
In line with this advocacy and event, OO has been teaming up with several cancer awareness organizations both locally and abroad, including the FCancer Campaign in the United States.
Meanwhile, OO is also open to
suggestions regarding on artists that needs an avenue to showcase
their original music. Just email Guji at guji@gujilorenzana.com.
