Just three weeks from the success of its previous show, Ampalaya Monologues goes for the rerun of its third-anniversary show this Sunday.
The upcoming restaging of Bitt3rd features two kinds of people: those who drink and those who cause the urge to drink. It asks, “Which one will you be?” As the night unfolds, interconnected stories of those who have taken chances find themselves to be both, through their own and others’ experiences.
The initial staging of Bitt3rd held 27 October 2018 gained positive reactions, with most audience describing it as a “roller coaster ride of emotions”, an “iyak-tawa kinda night”, and “super fun yet super hurtful.”
The pieces made for this Ampalaya monologues' show was written and directed by Mark Ghosn. They will be given to life by Monologista Inc., the Philippines’ premiere pioneer group of monologists which includes Janine Lloce, Abe Herma, Jerome Dawis, Sonson O., Justinne Punsalang, Ristichen, among others. Also, joining them for this evening are some of the known spoken word artists such as Carlo Hornilla, Antonio Bathan Jr., Daniel Baja, and more.
Ampalaya Monologues' Bitt3rd will be held on Sunday, 18 November 2018, at Arts Above, in West Avenue, Quezon City. Tickets are available for the price of P300 via Ticket 2 Me website or by messaging the Ampalaya Monologues Facebook page for reservations.
