Manila Improv Festival is set to hit the stage of PETA Theater in Quezon City for a week this March 2019.
Third World Improv and the PETA Theater Center in cooperation with Ticket2Me, brings the 5th edition of the globally-recognized Manila Improv Festival inside one of the country's premier theatrical venues, with 58 acts from all over the world performing.
Since its inception in 2010, Manila Improv Festival has developed a loyal audience; and with performing groups and individuals hailing from countries such as Israel, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia, the United States, Spain, Colombia, France, and Venezuela, MIF has cemented their status as one of the major extravaganzas in the world of unscripted and unrehearsed theater.
“This is the most international festival we have had yet, with special shows that celebrate and embrace the roots of the individual performers. For example, we have an all Latino show, a French show, an Indians of Singapore show, and an LGBTQ show,” said festival producer Gabe Mercado.
Aside from the usual 20 shows in five days, Manila Improv Festival will also feature 10 workshops in the said stretch, beginning on the evening of 27 March until the evening of 31 March. Tickets are already available through the Ticket2Me platform in a single show and multiple show packages.
