Wrevolution X just kicked off last month with the Path Of Gold event, but the path to PWR's biggest show of the year is nothing without an obstacle – a long and treacherous one that is only meant for conquerors. Who's destiny will be fulfilled come Sunday, 28 April 2019? Find out as Philippine Wrestling Revolution will emanate its live event DESTINO from the Power Mac Center at Circuit Makati.
Nine matches are slated in the card, and this seems interesting on how the promotion will squeeze everything into their standard 4-ish hour program. Taking place at the main event is the 5-vs-5 tag team match between the team of QUATRO and Naught Boys against the team of PWR Champion Ralph Imabayashi, The YOLO Twins, and KakaiBros.
It is a complex feud involving three teams getting into ploy with the brewing feud between the champ and its challenger. Can the Lightbringer/Path Of Gold winner seal his fate with a win and keep his momentum swinging as PWR gears towards the May outing? Can be Jhemherlhynn be swayed with the courtships from both Yohann and Mh4rckie? So many twists and turns that it is now leaving me puzzled, but I guess the answers will come out soon.
This Sunday afternoon, The Wrestling Lord and Savior John Sebastian will defend his PHX title against Revo Ranger. He will also announce the company's co-general manager as directed to him by PWR board of directors. Meanwhile, whoever wins this contest must take notice on his potential challenger as Chino Guinto is set for the conquest of his own – that's taking back a title he never lost. But that will happen if he gets past Vlad Sinnsyk first.
In one of the featured singles match, Cali Nueva will take on Crystal. He will also drop by Mahabang Usapan, a talk segment featuring The King of Schlong Style and Basted Club, Rederick Mahaba. What does the Renaissance man have in mind before facing the Queen of Philippine wrestling?
Martivo is stepping up to the plate as he challenges Daxx Xaviera for the All Out War Championship. Can Xaviera hold on to his AOW-rora when the Punk Doll comes around and wages a potential unbarred war for the ages?
There are two men having a tussle with one similar foe. Unfortunately for them, only one can take the lone spot. Who among Chris Panzer and Ken Warren will emerge to put up a fight with Mr. Sy at Wrevolution X?
Women's revolution continues to flourish as Robynn takes on Jaye Sera this Sunday at PWR Destino. Nina will also be participating in the event special guest ring announcer.
Meanwhile, as unfortunate as it sounds, Jake De Leon will never face Mike Madrigal at DESTINO after the Walking Death turned down the request. However, Senyorito got himself entangled in an affair with Mr. Sy's Group of Talents. This Sunday, JDL and his tag team partner Bolt will square off against Sandata and Main Maxx.
Another tag team match is taking place at DESTINO, and this promises to be a hot one – The Network will clash with The Endgame. Can the newly-reformed stable of Warlord and Idol withstand this emerging group of Jan Evander and Super Vintendo?
Some journeys will come to an abrupt halt; while others will continue to run and mold their fate. The road to Wrevolution X has one last stop, and it will take place this Sunday, 28 April 2019, live at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Makati City. Bell tolls at 2:00PM.
