From down South to up North. Yup, talk about switching places and directions; which reminds me of one question: Angeles, HAVE YOU HEARD GOOD MUSIC LATELY?
Docdef Productions, one of the hottest music event production groups in the mid-2010s local music scene, is gearing up for another music festival to be staged at Pampanga later this year.
In a shocking surprise announcement last month, the makers of Tagaytay Art Beat announced they are curating an arts and music festival this 24 August 2019 at Filinvest Mimosa Leisure City in Angeles, Pampanga. Yes, there will be another big music thing in the city, two months since staging its own Fete de la Musique stage. Gates will be open as early as 10:00 AM!
Dubbed as ODDISEE, this all-night-long spectacle will showcase some of the newest and hottest acts in the music scene today – no matter how odd it may sound. Well, the title itself is a product of a wordplay from "odyssey" and the phrase "odd I see."
Watch the variety of live music performances take place just in time for the long weekend, such as indie-folk darlings The Ransom Collective and Munimuni; pop-rockers Oh, Flamingo! and Carousel Casualties; sure-fire crowd-drawers Leanne and Naara, and Never The Strangers; the funky driven crews of Ube, Banna Harbera, Basically Saturday Night and Lola Amour; and many more. Plus a bunch of Pampanga's own Mt. Lewis and Turntides joining this 24-band party!
