Award-winning pop-rock group CHNDTR kept its momentum going by releasing its newest single and music video Sulat, recently.
One of the hottest names in the music scene recently, the girl-fronted band keeps on making “Hugot Core” music with this new potential instant hit; living to their branding that comprises “so much feels” in it.
Written as a follow-up to well-accepted song Kulang, Sulat is a track that captures this distinct sound that made them recognized among its flock of fans called Mimaws. Its music video was launched last August and directed by a four-man team of Paul Bagasic, Ibrahim Manalo, Michael Bihla, and Joseph Cacanindin. Since then, SULAT's music video amassed thousands of views just hours after its upload on YouTube.
In three years of existence, CHNDTR appears to be just a no-vowel-sounding band name to back its frontwoman Chin Detera; but their distinct pop-punk-rock, angst-driven sound has lured them awards, endorsement deals, massive streaming and airplay, and most importantly, a cult of followers that stands as a testament of the reception they have as musicians. With the newest single already out and its music video leading people clamoring for more, expect this quartet to deliver more in the coming months and years.
