OPPO unleashes Reno2 series

OPPO has recently staged the grand launching of its newest line of smartphones, the reiteration of the elite Reno series.



The world-leading smartphone brand formally unveiled the Reno2 and Reno F, phones that poise to bring video content creation as its top-highlighted capabilities thru the Quad Rear Camera setup capable of up to 20x Digital Zoom, Ultra Steady Mode, Ultra Dark Mode, and more; making anyone a storymaker at their own right.

As Reno series lives up to its namesake of valuing creativity and self-expression through stories that make up of one's everyday lives, the Reno Collective adds up actors Gabbi Garcia and Micahel Daez, globe-trotting adventurer Daniel Marsh, and popular fashion and lifestyle icon Laureen Uy to its list of brand ambassadors. This roster’s content may differ in theme, but they all share the same goal of creative self-expression in the form of videography, which then inspires others to embrace being a storymaker. The OPPO Reno2 Series’ newest innovation enables one to widen horizons, discover new possibilities, and express one’s self with no reservations.

Aside from that, OPPO also piloted its “100 Moments” digital campaign that gives a glimpse of over 100 diverse stories – all creatively captured with Reno2 and accessible to the public through #AnyoneIsAStorymaker.



Videography has now become a trending item on social media. It has become today's top form of one's expression, especially with the advent of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok – that, of course, aside from the rampant increase of video uploads and showcase.

With all that said, the OOPO Reno2 is poised to help users create better video content with the enhanced Quad Rear Camera consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP mono lens, supported by 5x Hybrid Zoom and up to 20x digital zoom and the Ultra Wide Angle Lens.

Aside from that, the Reno2 offers 116° Ultra-Wide Angle view, bringing your stories to life through boundless landscapes day or night. There's also the Ultra Steady Mode feature that is designed to guarantee stable and smooth videos amid extremely shaky situations; plus Optical Image Stabilization and a 60 fps frame rate to compensate for those shaky shots and enhance image stabilization, fluency, and overall image quality. But that's not all, as the Reno2 is equipped with the Ultra Dark Mode, which produces crisp and clear shots even during low light conditions.

Reno2 camera’s roster of video-focused features got beefed up with the Bokeh Effect Video that adds depth, as well as the Background Noise Reduction feature that cuts out background noise to make the subject’s sounds more focused, and the Audio Zoom feature that allows one to amplify the sound of a subject while zooming in on it.

Beyond camera features, OPPO Reno2 is equipped by the upgraded VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology that compliments a large-capacity 4,000 mAh battery; as well as Hyper Boost 2.0, Frame Boost, and Touch Boost, for an enjoying the smooth, immersive user experience plus long battery life. This phone also runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 and has a 6.5” AMOLED full screen made from durable 6th Generation Corning® Gorilla® Glass and the Dolby ATMOS feature.

The Reno2 series comes in colorways inspired by nature: options for Reno2 are Sunset Pink and Luminous Black, while Sky White and Lake Green for Reno2 F.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno2 F has a 48MP Quad Rear camera that comes with the Ultra Night Mode 2.0, which offers greater adaptability to a wider range of lighting intensity and optimized night shooting. Amplifying this is the Atmosphere Light for an optimized experience when using the front camera to take selfies efficiently. The Reno2 F also utilizes Electronic Image Stabilization to guarantee image stabilization amidst high-action activities together with 119° Ultra Wide-angle adaptability to enable you to capture wider perspectives.



Aside from the new phones, OPPO also launched the ENCO Q1, the brand's first wireless noise-canceling headphones. The key feature comes in handy in low-frequency noise environments when in transit such as in cars, airplanes, or trains. Designed by the OPPO acoustic team, it cancels out all external noise to enable the uninterrupted auditory experience. It is equipped with massive 11.8 mm high-resolution dynamic driver units with PEEK+PU composite diaphragms, resulting in rich mid-range to crystal-clear treble.

OPPO ENCO Q1 can run for 15 hours of music playtime, 10.5 hours of communication, and 22 hours when on standby. Charging time takes two hours on completion. This device is also built with Bluetooth 5.0 that allows a stronger connection between the phone and earphones up to 10 meters.

This headphone comes in two colors that exhibit the elegant form of premium designs: Midnight Black and Sunny Orange.

The new OPPO Reno2 will be available at PHP 28,990 with Muse Bluetooth Speaker worth PHP2,499 as a freebie, while the Reno2 F will retail at PHP 19,990 with O1 Bluetooth Headphone worth PHP2,499 as a freebie.



The Reno2 are also available through Globe Plan 1,799 (with no cash out) on 24 October and Smart Signature Plan M 1,499 (with Php7,500 cash out) on 8 November.
