Lenovo intros new products in its Summer Sale

Lenovo has recently released its new range of PC products for the latter part of Summer 2020.

The world's top PC making brand has formally unveiled its new computers that are flexible, powerful, and provide limitless possibilities for today’s digitally driven environment with the integrated AI that can identify and customize optimum performance levels depending on the needs of its user.

“PCs have now become an essential tool, regardless of the user’s background or whether they’re utilized for work or recreation. Our new devices combine what customers look for in those areas to become the ultimate companion tools that provide the reliable performance, connectivity, and entertainment needed as we move forward in this period where technology has become indispensable in daily life,” said Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan. “This is in line with the company’s global vision of “Smarter Technology for All.”

Lenovo's new PCs and bundle promos were all welcomed by the company through its overall summer campaign, the  “Lenovo Summer Sale,” launched live this past Tuesday (26 May 2020).  

Bannering the new batch of Lenovo products is the new IdeaPad Flex 5, a handy laptop that combines portability and power with its 2-in-1 design and either up to 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor or AMD Ryzen’s 8-Core 4000 Series processor. First announced at this year's CES in Las Vegas, this device lets digital artists execute various art styles of their preference, thanks to its s FHD 1920x1080 (14” or 15.6”) IPS display that has a 10-point Multi-touch touchscreen display and comes with the Digital Pen for FREE. 

This new laptop is priced for at least PHP 42,995

Lenovo has added IdeaPad Slim 5 to its growing line of IdeaPad products that cater to modern professionals with its enterprise-level security and connectivity. It has a physical webcam shutter and also allows seamless collaboration with its several ports and SD card reader, as well as a  USB-C Port that supports DisplayPort video output and Fast Charging via PowerDelivery. The device is powered by  Slim 5’s up to 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor or AMD Ryzen’s Latest 8-Core 4000 Series processor. 

The IdeaPad Slim 5 is available for PHP 49,995 as its starting price.

Lenovo also rolled its new and improved IdeaPad S540-13 which now it utilizes AI to make the device smarter and life easier for its users. Specifically, hassle-free access is now made possible through its Windows Hello facial recognition login, while smart assistant Cortana can do tasks via voice commands. Battery life has also improved through AI with its Intelligent Thermal Solution (ITS) 4.0 solution which allows users to shift processing power among tasks. 

The IdeaPad S540-13 can come with either an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 8GB memory, 512GB storage, and AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics or with an i7 10th-generation Intel processor with 16GB memory, 512GB SSD storage, and integrated NVIDIA MX350 graphics. Movie and TV series buffs will definitely enjoy every minute watching on this laptop S540-13 as it allows for crisp and stunning video through its QHD (Quad High Definition) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 57Whr battery with up to 18 hours of battery life (based on Mobile Mark Benchmark).

The refreshed Lenovo IdeaPad S540 is available in two variants – AMD and Intel – and they are priced at PhP59,995 and PhP64,995, respectively. 

Joining the current campaign line of Lenovo products are the Yoga S (Yoga S730, S740, and S940) and the convertible 2-in-1 Yoga C (Yoga C640, C740, and C940) series of laptops that also come with upgrades bolstering their performance. 

The Yoga S730 (price starts at PHP 54,995) can now have up to an 10th-generation i7 Intel processor, while the Yoga S740 (price starts at PHP 66,995) now comes with up to a i9 9th-generation Intel processor. Lastly, the powerhouse Yoga S940 got a boost in performance, as its new variant (available for PHP 119,995) now comes with an i7 10th-generation Intel processor.

Meanwhile, the premium Yoga C640 line now includes a more affordable option with the addition of a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-powered variant (available for PHP 54,995). Lastly, the Yoga C940 (price starts at PHP 89,995) can now be bought with up to a 10th-generation i7 Intel processor.

The world's #1 PC brand also launched several Chromebook devices accompanying the new laptops. Three variants of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook (price starts at PHP 13,995) will come equipped with an Intel Celeron N4020 processor. Lenovo’s Flex and Slim Chromebooks will be arriving as well, with the Flex 3 Chromebook (available for PHP 20,995) coming with an Intel Celeron N4020 processor, and the upcoming Flex 5 Chromebook (price starts at PHP 31,995) having up to a 10th-generation i5 Intel processor.
