BTS put on an explosive weekend once again.
One of the world's popular K-pop groups today had recently premiered its newest song and music video “Dynamite” last Friday (21 August 2020).
In the latest track, BTS sings of joy and confidence, treasuring little things that make life truly valuable and special. Its goal is also to bring a new surge of much-needed ‘energy’ to reinvigorate the global community in the midst of COVID-19.
The new song was also attributed to its creative contributors, David Stewart and Jessica Agombar, known for “What A Man Gotta Do” by the Jonas Brothers and “I Love You’s” by Hailee Steinfeld.
Dynamite was released exactly six months after MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, the fourth studio album that talks about BTS's hardships, sufferings, and fears in an honest and personal confession. It also marked the superstar group’s first-ever song to be released completely in English; having sought a “breakthrough” to overcome a sense of disheartenment stemmed from the new global climate.
In a press release, BTS said though they had not initially planned to release a digital single, the seven members’ eagerness to be with their beloved fans as soon as they could won the day. The band is excited to be able to share the single’s fervent cheers and encouragement with the listeners around the world.
Following the official single release is the accompanying music video which garnered more than a million of views in just less than 24 hours. All were attributed to the brilliantly dynamic performance which amplifies the song's vivid and catchy rhythms of . The choreography is edgy and upbeat with movements that highlight the distinct charms of each BTS member. Simpler movements are tastefully connected, allowing each member to sing and express themselves to their hearts’ extent. The magnificent splash of solo and group choreography of “Dynamite” is sure to bring forth a vibrant and witty charisma that seizes all eyes and ears.
Tune in to the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on 30 August 2020 as BTS will showcase the first TV performance premiere of this song.
