Lenovo recommends the new Legion products even for non-gamers!

02/05/2021 12:46:11 AM

Lenovo's gaming line isn't just for those who play all day long.

These devices are also tailored for people who are dealing with heavy-duty jobs on a daily basis; now that the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically shifted everyone's focus to do their daily tasks at home.

The new batch of Legion products are said to have the performance users needed to power through 2021 and beyond, since using the usual mainstream laptops for general home purposes couldn't guarantee a superior experience at all times.

Gaming PCs are known to possess components that bolster one's productivity and creativity such as having a dedicated graphics processing unit (GPU) or graphics card, better memory and storage capacity, and the latest processors. Why's that so? Dedicated graphics cards in the devices allow users to see and render images and videos to the highest quality with ease, making the job of digital artists more seamless than ever.

Backing the exceptional performance brought by these specifications are the enhanced memory and solid-state drive (SSD) storage options that allow programs to run quickly and simultaneously without any hiccups, as well as the latest Intel and AMD processors that unlock other features for more intensive work tasks. All in all, the new Legion devices are sleeker and lighter than ever which allows them to fit right in even in corporate settings.
“We purposely designed and developed our new Legion lineup not only for gamers but also with today’s workforce in mind. With current business demands, it’s no longer enough for devices to only run basic office applications and the usual day-to-day tasks. As the world of work evolves — and at a rapid pace at that, we want to equip professionals with devices that can help them adapt and excel in multiple scenarios,” said Michael Ngan, Lenovo Philippines President, and General Manager.
Here are what Lenovo recommends for select people of different professions to complement everyone’s renewed vigor in facing new challenges this 2021.

For online entrepreneurs/business owners – IdeaPad Gaming 3i (now starts at PHP 43,995)

Lenovo has the IdeaPad Gaming 3i ideal for anyone doing online business, especially that the commerce has been booming amid the pandemic. This device promises business owners smooth running applications which helps them reach growth and success through its up to 10th-generation Intel processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti dedicated graphics card, along with up to 16GB DDR4 memory and either up to 1TB NVME PCIe SSD or 2TB HDD storage options.

For content creators (vloggers, graphic designers, photographers, video editors, animators, and layout artists) – Legion 5Pi (now starts at PHP 67,995)

Meanwhile, for anyone who produces picture-perfect images and videos, Lenovo has the Legion Legion 5Pi notebook that comes with a 15-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) 1080p display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 500nits of brightness for high quality and vivid images and videos without tearing. The display of this laptop is also a VESA-certified high dynamic range (VESA DisplayHDR 400) screen that comes with 100% sRGB color accuracy, which makes it perfect for digital artists to see more realistic visualization of images while editing photos and videos.

For musicians – Legion 7i (now starts at PHP 99,995)

Musicians who might've been struggling to do their recording sessions would be in for a treat with Lenovo's flagship notebook. The Legion 7i is poised to be the most powerful notebook among the new lineup that lets one create a home studio set up in order to continue making music.  Its specifications not only make it the new Legion lineup’s most powerful notebook for gaming but also produce the best audio through its Dolby Atmos Speaker system. Aside from that, this device is specifically made to provide cinema-like sound quality and contains tools that musicians can utilize to get the perfect pitch and sound.

For programmers and developers – Legion 5/5i (now starts at PHP 52,995)

Lenovo knows that a computer’s processor takes the brunt when it comes to compiling and running code; which means the better they are, the more programs they can run. That said, the Legion 5 and Legion 5i (“i” is for Intel) are suitable devices for programmers and developers, for they are equipped with either the acclaimed AMD Ryzen 4000-series processor or Intel’s high-performing 10th-generation processor, which give these laptops the capability of running any application that developers can think of.

For teachers and professors – IdeaCentre Gaming 5i (now starts at PHP 49,995)

As online learning became a new norm since last year, Lenovo has responded to the need for better tech equipment through the IdeaCentre Gaming 5. Equipped with up to a 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super dedicated graphics card, this desktop CPU, paired with any Lenovo monitor from 21.5” up to 27” (sold separately), can run almost any distance learning tool with ease. Aside from that, the device comes with up to 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for storing notes, reports, tests, and worksheets.

For 3D designers and architects – Legion Tower 5i (now starts at PHP 69,995)

Last but not the least, Lenovo is recommending the Legion Tower 5i gaming battle station to 3D designers and architects who might've been enduring overheating computers while 3D performing rendering works – a quite common problem since it requires multiple components operating in unison.   The desktop easily breezes through intensive 3D rendering through its Legion Coldfront 2.0 Cooling System, which is a complex system of inner-working hardware and software allowing better airflow and lower system temperatures. In addition, 3D artists and architects can design everything they can think of from scratch with the Legion Tower 5i’s NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 dedicated graphics card that enables several perks such as ray-tracing and Variable Rate Shading. Also giving the Legion Tower 5i a boost is up to the 10th-generation Intel Core i9 processor that delivers remarkable performance upgrades when it comes to gaming or productivity. It can reach clock speeds of up to 5.3GHz and comes with 10 cores and 20 threads for faster processing of tasks.

Lenovo's new offerings are built to last which makes it a great long-term investment. And complementing its superior features and promising longevity is the brand's  Lenovo’s 3-Year Premium Care warranty solution that comes bundled with the devices upon purchase, including comprehensive technical support for any hardware and software concerns, a 24x7 direct hotline to Lenovo experts, and On-site Repair. It also includes an annual PC Health Check to maintain the computer’s health.

All these features and services in Legion’s newest devices position Lenovo as an integrated solutions provider capable of helping customers address their most critical needs and prepare for the challenges ahead. Lenovo is dedicated to building and managing smarter IT service solutions that are designed to drive customers’ intelligent transformation and empower them to be more agile and efficient in pursuit of their desired outcomes.

The Legion lineup’s new prices for 2021 add another reason to get one for work this year. To celebrate the new year, Lenovo Legion removed up to PHP 45,000 off from the prices of several of its gaming devices, including those mentioned above.
