Free Bee, the ultimate mobile app for overseas Filipinos, is set to bring families closer this holiday season by giving away special prizes and a chance to get unlimited premium calls.
Free Bee Day was usually known as a celebration in the e airport to welcome overseas Filipinos who are coming home for the holidays. However, with the restrictions taking place due to pandemic, Free Bee shifted this activity online to spread that warm feeling of homecoming to Filipinos, wherever they are in the world.
That said, Free Bee users were able to receive prizes from this mobile app and its sponsors. They also have been working together to reach 100,000 calls by noon of December 11, 2021. Not only that; those who have made a call from 22 November to 22 December 2021 will have the chance to get unlimited premium calls on 12 December and on Christmas Day itself.
Free Bee is also dropping a special video campaign, “Dama ang Pasko sa Diskarteng Free Bee” on 12.12, which reflects the unique ways of celebrating Christmas with Free Bee, despite the distance between overseas Filipinos and their loved ones.

Ultimate app for overseas Filipinos
Backed by PLDT's the international arm of the Philippines’ largest fully integrated telco PLDT Global Corporation, Free Bee is a multi-awarded app that helps overseas Filipinos through various services. It lets its users enjoy free two-minute calls to PLDT, Smart, and TNT customers in the Philippines. There's also an option for them to subscribe to premium calls that enables them make affordable calls to their families even if they are offline or do not use a smartphone.
With the upgraded Free Bee app, Filipinos in Canada, South Korea, United States, India, Singapore, Australia, and Japan can use a Virtual Philippine Number—a local Smart number that is assigned or paired to their Free Bee account—so that their families back home can call or text them and be charged only with local rates.
Aside from providing app-to-app calls with their friends (whenever they're online) around the world, Free Bee comes with an in-app digital currency or credit called Bee Coins which allows their users to purchase any call or text plans within the app through the Bee Shop. They could even send load t to their families back home or pay for Philippine bills even if they are abroad.
