SEGA has published the latest information on the titles announcements made by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio at the RGG Summit 2022 / Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio New Release Presentation, which was held 9/14/2022 (Wed).
Three titles were announced at the event: Like a Dragon: Ishin!, a remake of the 2014 title with beautiful graphics and beloved characters from the series appearing in the new cast; Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which depicts Kazuma Kiryu's story after the events of Yakuza 6; and Like a Dragon 8, which features Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as dual protagonists.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be exhibited at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, which will be held at Makuhari Messe starting 9/15/2022 (Thu). At TGS 2022, there will be a demo corner where visitors can try out the new game. There will also be photo spots, novelty gifts, and much more.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! will release on 2/22/2023 (Wed)!
Originally released in 2014, Like a Dragon: Ishin! has been born anew.
With gorgeous graphics realized through Unreal Engine, beloved characters from newer titles joining the cast, a more exhilarating battle system, new mini-games, and more, this game is a fully-fledged remake worthy of the "Kiwami" (Extreme) moniker.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be available on 2/22/2023 (Wed) on the PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and PC (Steam).
Like a Dragon: Ishin! – Story
At the end of the Edo Period, Japan, which was once ruled by the samurai, entered an age of turmoil.
The large-numbered Shishi, who wished to build a nation around the Emperor gathered in Kyo with ideals of overthrowing the Bakufu and expelling foreigners. Within their numbers, harboring no desire to change the world, was a man who only lived for revenge: Sakamoto Ryoma.
In order to avenge his mentor, he hides his identity and blends into the city of Kyo, becoming a member of the Shinsengumi, a notorious group of assassins feared as the Mibu Wolves.
Ryoma gives up his name and becomes “Saito Hajime”, determined to infiltrate the group no matter what dangers may lie in his wake.
In an era of change, the heroic Sakamoto Ryoma carves out his place in history.
Another legend begins now.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Releasing 2023!
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is an action-adventure game that tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu following the events of Yakuza 6.
A teaser trailer has also been released.
This title is scheduled to release in 2023 on the PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
Like a Dragon 8 Releasing in 2024!
Like a Dragon 8 is a dramatic RPG that features the characters Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as dual protagonists. A teaser trailer for the game has been released. This title is scheduled to release in 2024 on the PlayStation®, PlayStation®, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
