Affyn has launched the trailer for its upcoming game Buddy Arena, which features the theme song “Pick ‘Em Up”, which is written, co-produced and performed by Warner Music Singapore’s rising artist J.M3 (pronounced as Jamie).
The trailer is available at https://youtu.be/EkCSVfYDPm0, and the song is also launched worldwide on all digital streaming platforms from today at https://jm3.lnk.to/pickemup.
The trailer offers a sneak peek into the world of Buddy Arena, a mobile arena brawler game set in Affyn’s NEXUS World, and also features J.M3’s avatar as the main character as she battles alongside with Purffyn, showcasing the bond and resilience between players and Buddies. The song “Pick ‘Em Up” will also feature as the game’s theme song when it launches around the world in the coming months.
This partnership – first announced in May 2023 – underlines Affyn’s collaborative philosophy and approach. Affyn is constantly looking to work with potential partners in both Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 industries that share the same vision to build a better experience for audiences using innovative tools and methods.
Commenting on this momentous partnership, CEO Lucaz remarked: "At Affyn, we believe in breaking new ground through strategic collaborations. Our dedication to innovation propels us to explore novel ways to enhance the gaming landscape, and our alliance with Warner Music Singapore exemplifies this pursuit."
In addition, J.M3 is scheduled to appear at Affyn’s event at the Grand Prix Season Singapore during the F1 weekend on 16th September, and Warner Music Singapore managing director Gerald Ang will be a featured speaker at the event’s panel talk show titled “What in the World Wide Web 3.0: Forging The New Future”.
Buddy Arena is currently available on both iOS and Android platforms in the Philippines, and is set to launch in Singapore and selected regions next, with a global launch set for early 2024.
