Paul Arcega is set to end the month of May with a new release, and it's about to defy seasons with the magic of love.
The new song, titled Winter in May, is depicted as a ballad that encapsulates the rare essence of a love so profound that it defies seasons. Still deriving his music from the influences of John Mayer, The Weeknd, Charlie Puth, this songwriter from Pasig City puts an emotional feel on the contrasting weather of the time being – like a warmth in the cold and cool breeze on a summer day.
This emotionally captivating track is mastered by Jan Aries Agadier Fuertez, an Awit award-winning record producer who's some of his notable contributions were Uhaw (Tayong Lahat) by Dilaw, Julyo by David La Sol, and Pasilyo by SunKissed Lola, to name a few.
Winter In May follows Arcega's previous release called Friendly, a song released in September 2023 which now amassed 60 thousand plays as of press time; signaling an significant change in his overall artistry.
Following this release, Paul Arcega, together with his band members on The Restless, are set to keep making music under Rude 21 Records, a community-based label which is now affiliated with the regional-based Unstable Records.
Winter in May is out on 31 May.
