Barangay LS 97.1 radio DJ and singer Papa Obet returns with a touching new single under GMA Music, “Naghihintay,” a song that captures the emotions of longing, love, and loss. The song was set to be released last June 28.
“Naghihintay” is a pop ballad about someone who is still waiting for their love to return, even though they may be gone forever. The song’s lyrics are relatable to anyone who has ever experienced heartbreak or loss.
“I wrote this song based on the experiences that many people encounter today,” Papa Obet explains. “There are those who hope, those who wait, those who leave, and those who are left behind. And sometimes, those who leave may never come back, but we still hold on to hope that they will.”
