[THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE]

Rising J-pop sensation Number_i has released their much-awaited debut album No. I, featuring the cool and transcendent contemporary R&B single “ICE.” The 14-track album is a testament to the group’s artistic evolution, with each track offering a fresh take on the J-pop genre. The lead track “ICE” showcases a perfect blend of cool beats and the refreshing sensation of taking a sauna, brought to life through modern R&B elements.

In addition to “ICE,” the album includes several fan-favorite tracks such as Number_i’s debut hit “GOAT,” the Sho Hirano-produced “BON,” and their recently released single “INZM.” These tracks have already made a splash on the global music scene, reinforcing Number_i’s accelerating rise.

Momentum and Global Reach
Number_i continues to gain impressive momentum both in Japan and internationally. The music videos for “GOAT” and “BON” surpassed 10 million views within just three days of release, claiming top spots on YouTube’s global daily music video ranking. The group’s debut track “GOAT” also dominated the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard JAPAN's Hot 100, Billboard Japan Weekly Single Sales Chart and the Oricon Chart. Their Mini Album “No.O -ring-” reached #1 on Billboard Japan Hot Albums on its first week and lead track “BON” charted on Billboard JAPAN's Hot 100.

Internationally, Number_i gained further acclaim following their electrifying performance at 88rising’s Coachella stage on April 14, 2024. This appearance sparked a surge in popularity, pushing “GOAT” to #10 on the US iTunes overall chart and #3 on the Hip-Hop chart.

Their latest single, “INZM,” has generated substantial media buzz across Southeast Asia and China, with strong support from local radio stations, especially in SEA regions. Fans also connected with the band through the revelation that the “INZM” official music video was filmed in Taiwan, further enhancing the song’s appeal in the region.
