The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 35 (Part 2)

04/06/2019 12:49:21 PM

Sixteen matches for WrestleMania 35. Yes. 16. FREAKIN'. MATCHES. Yes, as if 14 weren't enough for a 7-hour wrestling sports entertainment show, right?

And they are back in a similar location – the one they held in 2013. It's strange because its development counterpart was named NXT TakeOver New York and not Brooklyn V. Same fate as Orlando and New Orleans on the recent years.

Is it worthy to put my predictions here? Probably yes and probably no. But anyway, since I have been writing this shit as of now, let's do this pre-take.

A RAW Set of Twists and Turns

09/05/2016 08:09:43 PM

It was a rough stretch for RAW to get back into the competition. Two days after SummerSlam, despite having a dominating cards and results in their favor, it was SmackDown live who drew first-blood in the competition. All that despite having Bayley debut in their roster.

The Rundown Slam: WWE SummerSlam 2016 (Part 4)

It's funny that the 6-tag team match for the women's division of SmackDown took place after the WWE World Championship match. It served like another bathroom break for those observers. While on the other hand, that's actually shows that the women were given a chance. Hence, placing them at the top of the SmackDown cards for SummerSlam made it appear like another result of those #GiveDivasAChance tweets. (Well, sorry, make it #GiveSmackDownWomenAChance.)

The Pre-take: WWE SummerSlam 2016 - Rollins vs. Balor (WWE Universal Championship)

08/22/2016 01:48:36 AM

It's a new era, and therefore it means a new championship for the WWE's flagship program Monday Night RAW. Since then, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley unleashed their new title that will represent the red brand – the WWE Universal Championship.

Sounds pun, but it's really not. And while the first overall draft pick got the instant contender shot, the other one has to climb the way to success.

The Rundown Slam: WWE NXT TakeOver Brooklyn

8/23/2015 9:40:26 PM
Say, the World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) developmental firm had just got better, eh? A few months after a series of NXT talents underwent a tournament o have a representative on WrestleMania 31’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale, NXT had taken over Brooklyn, New York as a supporting gig to what we call

I must say, Kevin Owens has picked the wrong battle this time. And a “devil’s homecoming” may sound appalling to the typical person; if you are not even a casual wrestling fan.

I haven’t seen the entirety of the WWE’s Japan special show called Beast in the East. And the only thing which caught my interest is the battle for the NXT championship.

Sami Zayn gets his hands at the man who once called him as “best friend” but at the same time that turned back on him after winning the NXT championship; while it’s Charlotte and Sasha Banks again for the NXT Women’s championship – plus Bayley and Becky Lynch; and a whole lot more occure4d in this NXT special event known as Takeover Rival.

The Rundown Slam: NXT Takeover REvolution

12/24/2014 6:36:35 PM

At the event where the World Wrestling Entertainment is switching gears past the Authority Era, the developmental stage had few things in mind: the possibly shifting of supremacy in some kind of revolutionary manner, the entrance of another heavyweight shift in the pro wrestling scene, and the development of other stars...something I’d like to call as evolution.

NXT, the WWE’s developmental firm just had their fourth special episode of the year, and it’s called Takeover REvolution.

Playback: Finn Balor's NXT Entrance

12/14/2014 5:05:15 PM

For the past few weeks, I’ve been seeing WWE’s developmental program NXT very rarely. And the thing is, its special episodes (their counterpart to those main PPV events) were hardly shown on TV, which made me rely on the internet more than often.

Last Saturday afternoon, as I went to update and download my music files, I checked out NXT Takeover R Evolution on Dailymotion (by the way, I’ll post my take about its entirety later this week), and one of those heavyweight battles (relax, this had nothing to do with title matches) was a tag-team match between a former duo champs and a tandem of international superstars.

And perhaps the most surprising shit of them all is that guy named Finn Balor.
