Featuring collaborations with Paris Hilton, Akon, Ángela Aguilar, Danna Paola, Greeicy, Galantis, JJ Lin, Hayley Kiyoko, Galantis, Timmy Trumpet, and John Martin, the album is an extension of the genre-expanding universe Aoki introduced on 2022’s HiROQUEST: Genesis. Recorded primarily in Las Vegas and Miami, HiROQUEST: Double Helix embraces a sense of nostalgia for the early days of Aoki’s career while also pushing dance music into the future.

Multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki releases his new single “Hungry Heart,” alongside Grammy-nominated collaborative project Galantis, and featuring vocals by trailblazing popstar Hayley Kiyoko. Kiyoko penned the exhilarating dance-pop anthem from her own personal experience in a fast-moving romance. After working on the song with Aoki, the two reached out to Galantis to join the collaboration. Combined with Aoki’s iconic sound, Galantis’ catchy beats, and Kiyoko’s vibrant vocals, “Hungry Heart” came together as a trifecta. The music video, conceptualized and directed by Kiyoko, captures an action-packed arcade romance.
