Curtain Call: M Butterfly
It was another time for another run in
Manila for one of the most resounding names in theater's running
history as M Butterfly hit the stages of Maybank Performing Arts
Theater in Bonifacio Global City. Inspired by
Giaccomo Puccini's opera, the two-act play is loosely based on events
surrounding a 1986 espionage trial about a my serious Chinese opera
singer and a French Diplomat.
