It's a shame that it took me two months to finish this personal project. I initially had this in mind since late November and worked on the draft by mid-December. Anyway, here it goes... 

Ten years ago, I tried coming up with a list of my favorite songs of the decade here in this blog. Unfortunately, I ended up shelving it as I got more busy with college studies and post-disaster recovery.

Definitely there is something deeper behind this music video. And we're not just talking about the music and letters here. But Maya's Anklet's “Kung Alam Ko Lang” exhibits the same alternative genre yet done in a bit different way – if you compare it to their EP years ago.

Docdef Productions celebrated their 3rd anniversary with a gig that is quite a fitting one to cap 2015. Most of the best and up-and-coming musicians performed at Docdefy III happened 29 December 2015 at Route 196 in Quezon City.

August 13 was the date, and the setting was at the premier music place located at Katipunan Avenue, as Docdef Productions and the UP Underground Music Society delivered three music videos which are part of a ballet-themed film.

I randomly spotted through the news feed of my Facebook when one of my college friends (who, by the way, is an indie musician) posted a photo containing an event poster: it’s DocDef 61 held 8 PM of January 24, 2015 at Route 196 bar in Quezon City.


That seems interesting as my first impression; considering it’s been a very long while since I attended an underground gig; but actually it felt like first time. Plus the venue was just a mere walking distance from my residence.
