Author's note: There are some things in the world that can't be resolved by the three-key combination of CTRL, Alt, and Delete. One of them is the real life, and another one is the customized firmware bootkit that was found recently by the world-renowned cybersecurity brand Kasperksy. 

Thgrough its researchers, Kaspersky has said they uncovered an advanced persistent threat (APT) espionage campaign that uses a very rarely seen type of malware known as a firmware bootkit.
