Have fun learning all about dog training and disaster preparedness with the UPMV K9 Corps! 
Established in 2017, the University of the Philippines –Metro Manila Development Authority – UP Vanguard, Inc. (UPMV) K9 Corps is a non-profit partnership aimed at training local communities and their pets in basic search-and-rescue and disaster response. To date, there are already close to a hundred volunteers and K9s in the program, with Batch 11 already in training.

The UPMV K9 SAR Corps recently joined the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in a bid to improve the appreciation and care of dogs in local communities, especially those involved in search and rescue (SAR) efforts through a one-day seminar on canine first aid.
