All-Star Embarrassment

I know, it has been a month since we have seen the 73rd NBA All-Star Game live from nowhere but at the homecourt of the Pacers itself, the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse.

Wow, seriously? Not even in the larger Lucas Oil Stadium, which they built an LED board court which may look aesthetically appealing but ridiculous at the same time? Boy, that was a bummer. Why bother putting up the side events at the stadium in the first place? That definitely made it look like a disappointing weekend, especially with only 17,251 people able to watch that live.

Mamba Out, Mamba Lives On.

02/25/2020 12:31:09 PM

Putukan at Supalpal

07/06/2018 11:59:10 AM

Sila Na Naman?! (NBA Finals Na! E Ano Ngayon? v. 2018)

So...

To Oust or Not to Oust?!

11/01/2017 08:13:58 PM

#ThankYouKobe, 1 Year Later

04/14/2017 04:09:44 AM

It's been barely 367 days since we have seen this guy last played in an NBA game. And what a monumental game to finish – 60 points to put Kobe Bryant into one of the top scorers ever in the NBA.

Talk about ending a career with a bang, right? Especially in the last stretch of the game where everything, though dramatic, turned out be an entertaining kind of farewell.

The Shot

10/28/2016 11:36:28 PM

It was the shot that seeming neutralized what has been a bunch of negative hypes that surrounded the league for the past season. Imagine one crowd-favorite team has finally made it to the promised land – a bit earlier from what has been expected from them.

Teammates Win It All

Perhaps of all the awards given at the National Basketball Association, this is something new yet a very important gem in the world of this sport. Well, why not? This proved how powerful the word “teamwork” is.

Biggest news of the summer in the NBA, just right after a stunning and historic victory that solidified the legacy of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Revenge and Ascension to the Throne

06/20/2016 06:07:50 PM

Emergence. This is the word that described best about LeBron James. After being a choker in the past two NBA Finals series as the leader of Cleveland Cavaliers, James carried his team back into the biggest stage of professional basketball world and all the way til they reached the pinnacle of success, the NBA Championship! All that despite being almost buried down in the deep midway through their best-of-seven semifinal series against (and again) then-defending champs Golden State Warriors.

The Pre-take: 2016 NBA Finals

06/06/2016 11:45:08 PM

sportsunbiased.com
I know it's been quite late to do this. Two games have passed by, and we have seen the utmost and the unquestionable domination of the defensing champions. Perhaps, a 3-1 deficit at the Western Conference Finals served them as a wake-up call; keeping their hopes of making history (on a good note) alive and salvaged themselves from marking a bad one. (After all, who would like to see a 73-9 winning team go to waste in the battle for the representation of the current's most dominating conference at the NBA?)

Thundering On The Brink of Elimination

05/25/2016 06:48:10 PM

The Golden State Warriors lost two straight games for the first time this season, eh?

Anyone thought it was a big deal, don't you? Well, yeah, it could really be a big deal since this time around—the defending champions ended up trailing 3-1 in their best-of-7 series for the Western Conference Championship; and also the right to represent the conference in the upcoming NBA Finals.

Wait, how on earth did that happen?

The Pre-take: 2016 NBA Eastern Conference Finals

05/18/2016 05:17:41 PM

As of writing time, the Cleveland Cavaliers have taken a 1-0 lead by dispatching Toronto Raptors, 115-84.

Honestly, I don't see much point on why I should get my hands on this match-up. Like seriously—setting my fandom aside—we are about to see Cleveland-Golden State Warriors for the second straight time, right? Like how the Celtics-Lakers have went on during 80s, as well as Bulls-Jazz in 1997 and 1998, and the Heat-San Antonio feud in 2013 and 2014.
