It was a steady Thursday night at Route 196 where actor-musician Marc Abaya staged a bar tour regarding “Red Bleeds To Blue,” his first work as a solo artist.
Initially, questions pops up in the minds of every music aficionado who followed his work for barely 1 ½ decades as Abaya takes a leap of fate this year, and ahead of time when his band is about to hit Singapore and Dubai for the next two months.
Yours truly had a catch-up talk with the Kjwan frontman regarding his latest solo act.

reception in terms of numbers, it is safe to say this band is an
achiever; from earning commercial endorsements to having overseas
gigs.

An entire book translated into a single screenplay (or a series of screenplays) that was perhaps not just a culture norm of entertainment, but a marketing tool to a merchandise is so evident that people usually generates array of feedbacks regarding to it.

Naalala ko ang isang grupo ng mga estudyante noon na
pinaunlakan ko ng panayam. Ukol kasi ito sa kanilang thesis na may kinalaman sa
citizen journalism.
Dati ay may naisulat na ako ukol sa citizen journalism. Pero
hayaan n’yo ang inyong lingkod na muling magbigay ng pahayag ukol dun sa
lengwaheng naiintindihan ng nakararami sa atin. Come on, pang-Pinoy lang ‘to
kaya ilalahad ko naman ang aking alam sa wikang Filipino.
Pero patok nga ba sa atin ngayon ang “citizen journalism?”

pasada muna tayo sa isa sa mga matutunog na birada sa nakalipas na mga araw.
Ang
interview na ito ay naging matunog na balita kahapon. Sobrang matunog lang ay
nagtrending pa siya sa Twitter sa lob ng dalawang araw (tama, kahit sa panahon
na sinusulat ko ito ay laman din s’iya ng mga trnending topics sa naturang
social networking site).
