Newsletter: Happy New Fear: financial phishing grows by 9.5% during the holiday season

Author's note: As if the series of terrible news has already put some of us into the state of paranoia, what more if you are a victim of phishing?

Just over three months ago – or during the holiday season of 2019 – cybercriminals prey on online shoppers who deal with their own case of last-minute shopping. Kaspersky has said that several special days saw the rise in malicious activity numbers – coinciding with the usual skyrocketing numbers of sales made during the said days.
