Newsletter: 1.6M more phishing almost infected SEA SMBs in H1 2020 -Kaspersky

Author's Note: Phishing is one of the known cases of cyber attacks that are persistent even during this time of pandemic and lockdown, proving that criminals never sleep.


The said case is on the rise with  1.6 million attempts to transfer users to phishing pages via links within emails blocked from January to June, showing small and medium businesses need cybersecurity improvements in the context of continued remote working.



Imagine that: on just the first semester of the new decade, SMBs are gravely affected at the time where countries are in recession and shops – small or even the big ones – are closing due to economical reasons.

It is unfortunately yet inevitable that pop culture has been one of the factors to some cases of cyberattacks. Just this past May, the height of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones saw a spike in related cybercriminal activity. That's according to Kaspersky Lab researchers.

Ayan na. Lumabas na ang desisyon ng Korte Suprema; aniya, “unconstitutional” daw ang Disbursement Acceleration Program fund o sa madaling sabi, ang DAP. At 13-0 yan, isang bonggang-bonggang unanimous decision, na kala mo ay sa mga laban sa UFC at boxing mo lang maririnig ang katagang yan.

O tapos, ano na? Unconstitutional pala yan eh!
