Sana ay isa lamang itong hamak na panaginip, pero hindi eh. Ops, hindi ko tinutukoy ang hiwalayan niyong mag-jowa, ang pagkawala mo ng trabaho, ang pagkaburat mo sa buhay, ang pag-diagnose ng isang malalang sakit sa'yo, at kung anu-ano pa na maihahalintulad sa isang malagim na panaginip o bangungot.

Eh ano ang tinutukoy ko? Ang pag-bili lang naman ng Grab sa operasyon ng Uber sa Southeast Asia.

Ride No More?!

Isa sa mga pinakamahalagang bagay sa isang bansa ay ang pagkakaroon ng isang sistema para sa transportasyon ng tao. As in mass transportation ba.

At para sa mga nag-aaral/nagtatrabaho/naggagala sa Kalakhang Maynila, malinaw na isa ito sa  mga pinakamalalang problema na may karugtong pa na sakit na ulo – ang trapiko. Imagine mo no? Mahirap na ngang sumakay, naiipit ka pa sa lugar na iyong kinatatayuan.

At dahil lagi na lang puno ang mga jeepney, bus, at ultimo mga tren – sinamahan mo pa ng maraming maaarte na taxi driver, talaga nga namang ang mag gaya ng carpool at TNVS na lanmang ang nakikitang solusyon rito. Kaya nariyan ang mga gaya ng Uber, Grab, at ultimo ang Angkas.

Hindi lang nakaupo, may gana nang mamahiya sa social media. Alam mo, wala nang mas nakakairita pa kaysa sa isang babae na ginagamit ang pagka-babae sa social media para lang masabi na tama siya, hindi gentleman ang mga kalalakihan, mapansin sa mundo sa pamamaraan ng birtwalidad.

Nagkaaberya na naman ang mga tren nung nakaraang linggo. Akalain mo, inararo ang Taft Avenue station?!


Sa isang hindi inaasahang sitwasyon, nagkakaroon ng mga serye ng depektibong tren ang Megatren, o MRT line 3 sa pagitang ng Magallanes at Taft Avenue stations nopng nakaraang Miyerkules, dahilan para magkaroon ng traffic sa bandang Taft Rotonda sa Pasay City, naging instant viewing venue ang lugar ng pinangyarihan, at uminit ang ulo ng mga netizens sa social media.

May usap-usapan na planong itaas sa sampung piso (P10) ang pasahe sa mga pampasaherong jeepney, mula sa dating walong piso at limampung sentimo (P8.50) na presyo nito. Napanood ko nga lang ito bilang isa sa mga balita sa isang morning show sa isa sa mga higanteng TV network.

Actually, 8.50 mula noong nakaraang buwan—at muli , matapos ang apat na taon na nakapako ito sa otso pesos (P8.00)

Ano? Putangina?! Magtataas na naman sila?

Oo nga. (Unli ka rin, e no?)

Isa sa susi sa pag-unlad ng ating bansa ay ang pagkakaroon ng isang solidong mass transport system. Tulad na lamang ng mga tren, bagay na makikita na lamang sa gitna’t ibabang bahagi ng hilagang Pilipinas.
Magandang pag-usapan ang proposal na ito. Makatutulong nga ba ang pagkakaroon ng subway sa Kamaynilaan? (Ops, hindi yung brand ng pagkain ha?)

Just My Opinion: Manila Bus Ban

Noong nakaraang linggo, inimplementa ng pamahalaan ng lungsod ng Maynila ang isang “bus ban.” Naglayon ito na ipagbawal ang pamamasada ng mga pamapasaherong bus sa naturang lungsod kung wala itong mga terminal. Ibig sabihin, ang mga bus na ang ruta ay naapektuhan ng naturang ordinansa ay hindi makapapasok ng lungsod. Hanggang city boundary lang sila, tapos ba-byahe na sila pabalik sa kani-kanilang mga destinasyon, ke Cavite man yan, Fairview o Cainta.
