D.S.T. (Deep Serious Trouble)

3/5/2015 8:29:05 AM

Playback: Flying Down To the Stands

3/1/2015 5:19:48 PM

I’m still on a log-jammed mode, friends. As of this writing, I already made six postings and yet it’s only a third (1/3) of the proposed ones – and damn it; I’m too far behind especially when it comes to things like sports and news.

Say, it’s been a week though since yours truly dropped by at the Philippine Wrestling Revolution’s latest program titled Vendetta.

One of the matches there includes an All-Out War between the team of Mayhem Brannigan and the Apolcalypse and The Royal Flush.

Since I really have a hard time squeezing on my takes for that matter (yes, sorry, laides and gentlemen I have to delay things once again as much as I don’t want to), here’s something I’d like to share. Perhaps on all of the PWR’s events in the Philippines, this stunt was never executed.

Not until the Vendetta comes; and I am talking about Mr. Do or Die jumping off from the top stands.

The Rundown Slam: WWE Fastlane

Just merely 35 nights before the grandest stage of sports entertainment, the World Wrestling Entertainment unleashed another pay-per-view, replacing Elimination Chamber in the process. The road seemed a smooth one as WWE took on the Fastlane.

WWE Fastlane comprised nine segments -- seven matches and two face-off sequences, in front of a not-so-loudly crowd FedEx Forum at Memphis, Tennessee. I wonder how Jerry “The King” Lawler felt that time. Sorry, man.

"Joke Time"

Sami Zayn gets his hands at the man who once called him as “best friend” but at the same time that turned back on him after winning the NXT championship; while it’s Charlotte and Sasha Banks again for the NXT Women’s championship – plus Bayley and Becky Lynch; and a whole lot more occure4d in this NXT special event known as Takeover Rival.

Just My Opinion: 2015 NBA All Star Game

3/1/2015 12:13:10 PM

(This is a late post.)

Stars shone the brightest in New York City during Valentines’ Day for the 2015 NBA All Star Game. Brooklyn provided the festivities for the Friday and Saturday, while the weekend never has been completed with the staging All-Star gamne itself at the epic Madison Square Garden.

At the end, records were shattered with a lot of three-point field goals; and it was the first time the Western Conference All-Stars garnered a victory after the previous four tries at the venue, 163-158.

Say, I won’t give much emphasis on the highlight reels, and other stats since I already posted this almost two weeks late. Let the video do the talking.

Review (Throwback Edition): Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata

7/31/2013 2:20:55 PM

(At present, the sitcom airs on Jeepney TV; and also, Studio 23 was reformatted and renamed as ABS-CBN Sports + Action as of January 18, 2014. )

You know, every time I hear that tune, I already know what program is that.

One of the best satirical sitcoms ever produced on Philippine Primetime Television was the Tuesday evening regular named “Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata.” One of the ABS-CBN’s finest earned an award at one international contest in 1991. Seems like Jose Javier Reyes was a hell genius in creating this series, alongside Johnny Manahan’s direction, eh?

Anyare?!: EDSA After 29 Years

2/25/2015 12:34:40 PM

Tapos minumura niyo? Kapal niyo rin e no?

Pero 29 years after EDSA, anyare na?

It's On!

2/22/2015 4:02:58 PM

Philippine News

War For Peace?!

2/1/2015 12:49:03 PM

PlayBack: Autotelic – Misteryoso

2/7/2015 8:19:16 PM

I’d like to give my take on this track I’ve been addicted on listening recently.

Thanks to my good ol’ college friend who performed on one of the gigs recently at Route 196, now my jukebox just got expanded – the indie way.

Wild Night in Brooklyn

2/18/2015 9:35:37 AM

The All-Star fever in the NBA may be over, with records shattering anew in the historic Madison Square Garden. The West won for the first time after five contests slated at the New York City-based venue, 163-158.

However, in Brooklyn, things are getting historic of their own. Look on this epic performance by Stephen Curry in the championship round of the Foot Locker Three Point Shootout.

Snappy Answers to Stupid Lovelife Questions (The Pre and Post-Valentines Edition)

2/15/2015 9:59:27 AM
