Noontime Dilemma

10/11/2015 7:27:23 PM

Kababawan.

Lihim

9/26/2015 7:47:59 PM

At some point in my life, I admire the people who have the guts to say such poetic lines in such a way that it appears like an old school monologue—just minus the extra motions such as theatrics.

And though I had no chance to do such spoken word poetry by such saying words with such eloquence, I can only utter words in writing. (Plus aside from the fact that I have a stage freight and a low self-esteem; something that serves as a hindrance for one to do public speaking.)

This piece is all about a 'secret admission' over someone else; it's like you want to make porma on her but you're resisting to do so as if she was—as well as the feelings of infatuation, lust, and even love—is a hindrance. Here it goes:

The Scene Around: The Rest is Noise 6

10/3/2015 1:19:35 PM

After five installments, Vandals on the Wall had done it again, and perhaps the series rolls on as they slated the sixth part of their gig series popularly known as The Rest is Noise. (Yes, and also just before TRIN 7 and 8 this month!)

Upcoming: Go To Hell

9/28/2015 6:28:21 PM

Since I missed watching WWE Night of Champions, I’ll shift my focus on this one... well, for a while. It seems as the Brock Lesnar-Undertaker feud reaches its end on Hell in A Cell, I think his character was rebuilt into another mold of being “The Conqueror.”

The Scene Around: Jacktember

9/28/2015 4:58:08 PM

Before we call it a "September to Remember," (like what the title of a series of gigs) we should see something that's worth the night for that one night of September. Yes, aside from Tagaytay Art Beat.

Jack Daniels joined the rest of the celebrating world when they held the Philippine edition of Jacktember on 4 September 2015 at Handlebar and Grill at Bel-Air, Makati City.

The Scene Around: Tagaytay Art Beat

9/27/2015 9:03:15 AM

The view from up here at the Roof Deck!
For once, I never thought I will be dropping by Tagaytay City once again. It’s been like 11 or 12 years since the last time I’ve been into that place. And the very last time I’ve been there is at the famous People’s Park in the Sky—once known as Palace in the Sky during the Marcos regime—the urban park sitting atop of Mount Gonzales.

Until a week ago, Docdef Productions and Museo Orlina teamed up to establish a one day-long affair with music and arts called Tagatay Art Beat.

Alaala ni Ondoy

(Alaala ni Ondoy was a three-part personal story-themed articles published by SlickMaster at the community blog site Definitely Filipino on September 2012. Hereby attached is the entire post.)

“Ha?”

SHE (Then and Now)

06/16/14 09:26:43 AM

Unless you are lucky to pick that “perfect kind” of lady, congratulations. I think you just reached the peak of your dreams. But as the reality bites continue to hit and hurt us, you have a long way to go, especially if you are a young lass, regardless if you're studying or working.

Lessons from Heneral Luna

Well, just because they had a very successful video launch, the band called MilesExperience had their own share of thanksgiving—and that took place in Mow's Bar over a month ago.
