Tuning in to Mad Cat Midnight

Talk-themed programs on FM radio has not been a newly-designed trend for over the years. We have seen a lot of them flourished from being just an occupiers in the evening prime time into either a social status or in a much elite degree of comparison, a cult.

Iconic programs from the CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) side like Boys Night Out, and The Morning Rush managed to be a phenomenon that is running up to now, while the now-defunct shows such as The Brewrats and The Disenchanted Kingdom had a run of their own only to be sabotaged by format changes; prompted an abrupt ending to what-should-have-been a decent brand in both radio industry and pop culture.

The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33 – WWE Championship Match

04/03/2017 01:13:39 AM

Probably, after Royal Rumble we have already seen in our minds that the 16-time champ John Cena will be defending the WWE Championship against Rumble winner Randy Orton; a clash for the ages – and we mean in both good and bad notes.

The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33 – Universal Championship Match

It was a lackluster ending in 2002. And I'm afraid that no matter how Paul Heyman may be totally-excellent in delivering his goods to promote the match, it might still end up a bummer.

We head on to WrestleMania with a RAW Tag Team Championship on the line, and it promises to be a very entertaining one as The Club will defend their titles as they face Sheamus-Cesaro and Enzo-Big Cass in a triple threat match.

The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33

John Cena and Nikki Bella versus The Miz and Maryse might be one of the best things that will take olace at WrestleMania. At least that saved me from having some pre-event's disdains as a wrestling fan.

While things were quite obvious to be pointing in that direction even during his days of being the 16th time World Champion, it seems that Cena and his real-life girlfriend were planned to engage in an altercation with Mike Mizanin and his wife. Both sports-entertainers (we mean wrestlers) and entertainers at their very own respective rights.

The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33 – Women's Championship Matches

04/02/2017 09:55:33 PM

Initially, I was kinda saddened by the fact that we will only witness a six-pack challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship match in a kickoff show. Until they decided to do otherwise. Hey, after all, how will the people worldwide will feel the glow

The Pre-Take: WWE WrestleMania 33 – The Kickoff Show Matches

I've said this before and I would probably say this again: this edition of WrestleMania had a lackluster hype and buildup that has twisted everyone's minds to the extent of a tiring one; making it as less interesting as possible. Well, probably not all feuds but it covered a a large portion of it with 13 matches stacked for probably 6 or 7 hours. Somewhat, it could be really tiring and dragging to watch as a fan and being a cult follower of professional wrestling for five years.

The Rundown Slam: WWE Elimination Chamber 2017

03/28/2017 09:20:38 PM

Screengrab from Dailymotion
Elimination Chamber marked its return after two years, and it's sadly wasn't the dome full of its name. They looked like a just-above-barbaric version of Hell in a Cell with chains and steel painted black and paddings that made it less of a chamber. So much for bringing a lot of special matches in the PG era.

The Scene Around: Pug At First Sight (2015)

Here's a piece of rewind 2016 for you, guys. No, we'll not gonna tackle those political crappy stuff here (hey, we all want to move forward on that aspect, right?). I know, while I personally geared up to the next level, I admit that blogging has far left behind. So that being said, let's take a bit of lookback to what the past year has offered to us.

The Rundown Slam: WWE Royal Rumble 2017

It's funny how the WWE claimed this edition of Royal Rumble as the biggest rumble of them all. Why? Is it because of the fact that they are celebrating three decades of success off a Robert Patterson's idea? Is it because of the return of the RR to the Alamo City?

The Rundown Slam: NXT Take Over San Antonio

03/27/2017 10:28:39 PM

I know, it might be six weeks to two months late from posting this. And I really had a hard time coping up with what's happening at the wrestling world.

But so, since WrestleMania week is just around the corner, maybe this could be at least a good time to fit into the showcase by having short takes on whatever PPV happened on this edition of road to the Ultimate Thrill Ride. Let's kick things off with NXT's pre-Royal Rumble special, shall we?

PlayBack: Sud – Show Me

I might be bias on doing this stuff right now. Well, don't get me wrong; while Sila can be considered a “so mainstream” thing, hearing their other tracks proved they have a lot more in store to offer. Now only if you give them a listen to their ultimate-slowdown tracks “Safer” and “Smilky,” the seducing “Make U Say,” and straightforward uptempo “Profanities.” This one, though, is my favorite out of their 8-track thingamajig.
