I just can’t imagine how the San Antonio Spurs made another stunning run at the game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against a perennial contender named Oklahoma City Thunder.

They won 19 straight, something that is quite not familiar to the team that had been relying on the key veterans. Maybe experience helped them winning it.

I have to admit, when these two teams about to squared up in the said stage, I have to pick the younger Thunder squad over Spurs. Hmmm…. maybe because they can outrun the defensive team and not to mention, Kevin Durant scored in various and even mysterious ways. How many times have he nailed a game winner despite the outstretched arms of his opponent? How athletic can he be when he gets banged up in the air and still throws it down? Wow.

Honestly, I don’t know why the hell I am making another review. From rap battles to a movie and now to one of the songs that I am having a so-called Last Song Syndrome. And maybe I’m jumping the hip-hop bandwagon after this song had struck into my mind for some time lately. Well, who cares anyway? I used to dig rap since childhood.

Loonie came up with a new album after huge hits in his FlipTop battle videos turned him from an underrated star into a perennial battle master with undefeated on his individual record, and still competing with another legit star Abra on dos por dos tournament. And one of its tracks that caught my attention is “Tao Lang.”

Well, forgive me for raping the playback button after hearing this track which he has collaboration with RnB star Quest entitled Tao Lang for the first time when I was browsing around YouTube lately.

Second single after “From Saudi with Love” featuring AJKA’s female vocalist, Tao Lang speaks different. Maybe that is the type of the song that I wanted to hear for most of the time. Something that tackles human nature and the story behind, err, something that can motivate me to do something (nah, maybe the same title of Michael Jackson or Kyla track but I’m more pertaining to the meaning).

So, I took the free download off the website soulfiesta.blogspot.com and tried listening to sometime.

Each stanza has its own different story.

I think every playoff time there will be a player who will step up their game level at the start, but to falter in the end. After all, they were human. Not everyone’s a perfect athlete that will guarantee wining games and championships at will.

March 31, 2007. It was then a sunny Saturday afternoon, just 2 days after my high school graduation. A kind of feeling that says “Yes! I’ve finally get over the hump.” Well, at least, for a while I did. My parents set us up a graduation party at our other place in Bulacan because 3 of us 4 siblings did already graduated from a certain level of schooling (with the eldest finishing Tourism course in college, me on high school, and the youngest at pre-school). But out of all the guests that my parents invited to come, there’s this certain girl whom made me felt something better for the first time in my life. I even thought that I could be infatuated then since relationships started from that aspect anyway (even if at some cases, things ended up making love at his or her bed). Yes, I’ve fallen in love.

Ito ay isa sa mga pauso ngayon sa mundo ng social networking (minsan pa nga e sa iba pang mga websites) makikita ito sa comment thread ng isang post o di naman kaya’y sa isang artikulong nakalathala sa isang website o di naman kaya’y mga video sa YouTube.

Ang salitang FIRST. Sa dating pa lang, superior na. Paano kasi, una. Mabilis pa sa alas-kwatro. As in, nauna lang siya magkumento. At masaklap nga lang, e yun din lang ang nilalaman ng comment niya.

Actually, parang mali nga yung term na “pagkawala.” E di let’s say pagka-suspend (or pag-adjourn, rather) ng trial. Problema ba yan? Sa totoo lang, hindi ko alam kung bakit ko napag-isipan na isulat ito. E hindi naman ako pala-tutok palagi sa impeachment trial. In fact, sa mga newscasts lang ako nakakakuha ng mga update, samantalang maraming available dyan sa free tv ng mga coverage ukol sa pag-i-impeach sa punong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema na si Renatio Corona. Sabagay, nung una kong pinanood ko ang mga yun, most of the times nung coverage e parang ang boring naman. Pero may pagkakataon talaga na parang mabubulatlat na lang ng bunganga ko na “ay, mali ako.” May exciting part din pala, at hindi ko tinutukoy ditto ang mga paglantad ng mga testigo, mga ebidensya, at kung ano pa.

Minsan ako nagpost sa account ko sa Facebook ng 5 bagay na mamimiss ko sa pag-adjourn ng impeachment trail ni Chief Justice Renato Corona. Buti na lang, naretrieve ko ang mga yun. Pero hindi ko na lang gagawan ng pamagat na “5” dahil may mga honorable mention e (besides, parang iilan lang naman yata talaga ang mas madalas kong nakikita). Pero same idea pa rin e. ewan ko mga tol, pakiwari ko lang yan, ha?

Papasadahan ko lang ito. Nag-alburoto na naman ang halos lahat ng netizens ng Pilipinas noong lumabas ang video ng isang nagngagalang Jimmy Sieczka. Ang ginawa lang naman ni Sieczka ay “20 things I dislike about the Philippines.” Isa sa dalawang bersyon niya ng mga feature na palbas ukol sa Pilipinas (ang isa naman ay 20 things I like about the Phiilippines.)At dahil nga umani ito ng sari-sari pero madalas ay negatibong remarks sa internet, halos i-kunsidera na ng isang konsehal ng Cebu City bilang “persona non grata.” Pero hindi nito itinuloy at sa halip, humingi ito ng paumanhin ang taong ni Sieczka via sa kanyang video sa Channelfix.

Bagamat marami ang tumuligsa sa taong ito, marami rin naman ang nakakaintindi. Marami nga naman ang dapat ayusin sa bansang ito. Hindi naman pwede sa lahat ng oras ay maganda lang ang nakikita natin. Kung may pangit dyan, ano? Magbubulag-bulagan tayo? E ba’t pa tayo nanonood ng mga balita kung ganun din naman e, marami rin naming negatibong pangyayayri dun?At ito pa, dapat nasa lugar ang ating “pride” bilang mga Filipino.

Since the last time my dogs screwed up my shades, I never owned and wore a new one, until my sister gave her that eyewear apparel to me – an oversized aviator type which I used more as a props but I had no choice but to wear whenever I’m hitting a public place.

There are 2 reasons why I used to wear those glasses: either the sun rays are too high for me, and just want to pretend that I don’t see much people around. It’s like the spotlights on me; I am the only king of the world. Nah, but that’s too selfish. I just hate the fact that seeing people like those ugly goons, trying hard salesmen, and over-PDAing couple. Well, let’s focus on the latter.
