"Wake Me Up When September Ends" Mo Mukha Mo

9/7/2014 1:03:57 PM

Another "Crime of Passion?"

9/21/2014 6:18:46 PM

Isa itong crime of passion.

Flick Review: Norte Hangganan ng Kasaysayan

9/16/2014 11:02:24 PM

At first I had thought of watching this film by Lav Diaz. Yes, I’m taking about Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan (The End of History), folks.

My curiosity just flew from out of nowhere after reading articles about the film; specifically, a movie review in Fred’s Blog (the post apparently was republished at ABS-CBNNews.com).

Pambansang Photobomb?!

9/21/2014 7:06:22 PM

May Bagong iPhone! E Ano Ngayon?!

9/21/2014 12:37:47 PM

Showtime!

9/17/2014 10:59:12 PM

So may bagong development. Nakapagbail na sila. Ibig sabihin, nakalaya.

The Pre-Take: Rematch

9/7/2014 7:26:01 PM

cagesideseats.com

I’d like to weigh in here. So, Brock Lesnar dealt John Cena the worst, lopsided, beatdown of his career, and perhaps the most one-sided fight in any WWE title matches history last SumemrSlam. Yes, kids, your hero lost as well as the WWE World Heavyweight title. Awww, how sad on your part, right?

However, Cena invoked his rematch clause. And to be frank, it appeared ridiculous. So, it’s John Cena vs, Brock Lesnar at the Night of Champions PPV event in Nashville, TN.

Late Policy

9/16/2014 9:51:17 PM

The Roar of the Filipino Crowd

9/16/2014 10:04:19 PM

(No intention to imitate the title WWE NXT theme per se)

Since the 2014 FIBA World Cup was already over, might as well give my brief take on this one.

It’s not surprising that the Unites States reigned supreme once again at the tournament. What can we expect? These guys threw their opponents away by at least 20 points per game!

Perhaps there are more surprising events than that, which I can relay few: like France just pulled a huge upset over host country Spain.

Australia allegedly intends to lose their remaining contest in avoidance to face USA.  Yes, what the hell, right? These people did not send you to Spain to intentionally lose their games in the first place.

And perhaps the biggest surprise of the World Cup is the Philippines’ appearance—and the immeasurable crowd.

The Rundown Slam: WWE NXT Takeover Fatal 4 Way

9/15/2014 8:38:33 PM

This is the first time I’m going to have a say about the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) NXT third annual special titled NXT Takeover Fatal 4 Way.

yoursportsfeeder.com

Just about four months ago in the same titled event, Adrian Neville went successful in his title defense against Tyson Kidd. The gorgeous star Tyler Breeze also emerged as the top contender after defeating Sami Zayn. Plus, Charlotte won the vacant Women’s champion in a battle of generation superstars against Natalya; and the Ascension continued to reign supreme in their tag team duel.

Fast forward to September 11, at the same venue, the Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. The developmental brand is up for a two-hour package.

Just My Opinion: On Gatecrashing and Blog Politics

9/7/2014 12:18:14 PM

As much as I don’t want to tackle this type of issue (since blogging about events is something I rarely do), however, as a member of the blogosphere for half-a-decade, I have to be concern too.

Blog politics was never a new thing. In fact, at every aspect of our respective lives, that dirty word (and world) do really exists; whether it’s at school, office, virtual and even on our home.

And so was at the blogging industry.

Upcoming: Lupin the Third – The Philippine Movie Premiere

9/7/2014 8:48:25 PM

I was a fan of this Anime series. Yes, and during my childhood era, it usually aired after the newscast on GMA-7 instead of those telenovelas. Maybe it was because primetime for teens and even kids to have some entertainment.

Until I saw this on SM Cinema’s Facebook page last August.

Yes, Lupin the Third, the Monkey Punch-created 14 volume series you once witnessed in Manga (Japanese term for comics) starting 1967 to 1969, and on animated television series starting 1989 is now on the live action movie scene.

Flick Review: The Expandables 3

8/25/2014 2:18:23 PM

The squad just expanded even more and they just went even badass. How about this: Four veteran action movie actors in this one heck of a movie? Add some young guns out there and they’ll come blasting on your face.

But… really, does the cast really armed themselves with better pacing and plot, huh?

Playback: OST — Guardians of the Galaxy

8/26/2014 9:50:45 PM

Like I said before, one of the huge factors that definitely catches my attention when it comes on watching movies was their soundtrack. It’s more plus points (since pogi, from an alpha male omega guy’s point of view, sounds gay), if it sounds nostalgic. Why? Because the film, by just making prejudice assumptions, has a series of flashback devices used (‘throwback’ is not the better term, sorry folks!). Plus the fact, that old school music still rocks more than the newbie ones.
